You will need to apply for a Children's Guardian Authority in order to be legally allowed to employ children under the age of 16 years old. It can be done online here.

This must be lodged a minimum of 7 working days before you plan to shoot. It's a two-stage process. Once you've received an Authority number you're set to go. Then you have until the day before the shoot to let them know details of the kids you'll be using which we will supply.
